Eco lodges of high standard

This hotel is in Yala and located down a very bumpy unmade road. The property is lodges based around a Central restaurant and bar area around the pool. The pool overlooks a lake with wildlife including several crocodiles! The food at the restaurant buffet is good and plenty of choice, the drink prices are very expensive though in comparison to other Cinnamon hotels (nearly double the price for a bottle of wine). The lodges are eco in decor, bathroom is quite dark, at night monkeys jump on the roof so don’t be shocked by some thudding above your head. The rangers walk you to and from your lodges after dark due to wild animal risk as they’re are no perimeter fences. We did a safari to Yala but didn’t see any leopard sadly. But we did see plenty of other wildlife.

Best place to stay, when we want a sarafi in Yala
Spectacular experience, 5 star staff. Very good comfort. Near the hotel there is a lake where animals gather, which makes us feel always on safari, with the particularity that we will be in 5-star comfort at the hotel. This hotel also has an exceptional management team at its head, whatever your need, just talk to Anuradha or Naleen, always ready to help and super friendly, they make us feel really at home

Wonderful location,.
We had a wonderful experience here. The stand-alone cabin was comfortable and felt quite 'jungle like', and comfortable. We sat on the veranda a lot, and listened to the Indian Ocean nearby. Breakfast was really good. If you go early, you just might see the Giant Squirrel in the stairwell, eating a banana- he doesn't mind his photo taken! The area around the pool is very pretty, and the nearby lagoon has crocodiles, monitors, pelicans, buffalo, and more. Safaris can be arranged, so that makes it easy. The overall atmosphere is relaxing and fun, and we really enjoyed our stay.
