Dependable & knowledgable guide

We were incredibly lucky to have Gayan as our guide / driver during our week Long holiday in Sri Lanka. We travelled to Weligama, Mirissa, Yala, Nuwara eliya and Colombo. Throughout the trip, we were well taken care of by Gayan. He knows the roads of Sri Lanka by heart, offered us timely advice on food, activities and little tips along the way. He also has contacts for tours (e.g. Yala National Park). Despite occasional long journeys between the locations, Gayan’s driving has made the journey as smooth as it can be. Good for tourists who are prone to motion sickness like me! Overall, we were very thankful to have him as our guide and it has definitely made our trip very memorable. Hospitable and professional guide
We hired Gayan for a period of 8 days - travelling to Weligama, Yala, Nuwara Eliya and back to Colombo. Throughout the trip, he was very professional and punctual. He made sure we were comfortable at all times and provided us with water. His navigation of the roads and driving throughout the challenging conditions was impeccable. We were always made to feel safe and reached out destinations in good times. He also is familiar with the tourist scene and can help organize tours and visits from his contacts. Overall, he was a great help and companion for a very memorable trip. Should you visit Sri Lanka and are in need of a driver or guide, don't hesitate to reach out to Gayan!

Incredible tour of Sri Lanka with Gayan
My friends and I decided to do a last minute weekend trip to Sri Lanka (we live in Singapore and were able to get cheap airplane tickets). A mutual friend had recommended Ceylon Heritage Tours, and we were in contact with our driver, Gayan, before we even arrived in Sri Lanka, as he helped us plan out a good tour route and itinerary for the 3 days we would be in the country. Gayan was incredibly kind, responsible and reliable the entire trip. Throughout the trip, he would share a lot of firsthand stories and facts about the country and also knew the best places to grab lunch and dinner. He also introduced us to the best tour guides (for the safari and tea plantations) and was able to negotiate a cheaper price for us which we really appreciated. He always was willing to go the extra mile to make us comfortable and happy. I'm very thankful that we met Gayan - he made our Sri Lanka trip the best it could be, and I definitely recommend him to anyone who is visiting Sri Lanka for the first time and needs a reliable driver and guide who can help navigate you to the best landmarks in the country.
