An interesting knife museum
I was with the Esse Hembygdssällskap on a trip to Kauhava, where we visited the interesting Kauhava Knife Museum, which shows a knife exhibit detailing the origin, history and artisans of the Kauhava knife industry, and the different steps and equipment involved in creating knives. The museum knife collection consists of pieces from a variety of manufacturers, including rarities from times past. Kauhava has a long tradition of knife making and there are several famous knife makers.
