    Not to be missed
Visited whilst on a cruise from UK. Easy bus ride from town costr around £5 each return and entry (for pensioners) at around the same made this incredible value. we spent over two hours enjoying seeing the many ages and styles of buildings and chatting with the staff whoe provided a most enjoyable and informative talk ( in excellent English ). Would higly recommend anyone with an interest in history to visit this museum.

    A History of Kristiansands living
Visited this museum whilst on a Baltic Cruise. We found our own way here via a local bus and saw what Kristiansands houses looked like over a hundred years ago. Although the museum was only fully open for pre-booked cruise excursions we could still see the majority of this site without paying an entrance fee. We spent an enjoyable couple of hours seeing many different buildings and a farm area. All in all an enjoyable look into Norways past
