Creater lake around Ababa!!
It is one of the crater lake near to Addis Ababa. Lake Ara Shatan is found around Butajira. It is the only crater in a 20 km line of recent cinder cones and lava flows on the western margin of the Ethiopian Rift Valley, about 140 km south of Addis Ababa. The volcanic erupted along a line parallel to the general direction of the rift margin and its associated grebes and faults. As the local guide said Di Paola (1972) recognized Ara Shatan as a phreatic explosion crater lake.
