Good for what's along it
The road goes from Turku to the Russian border and passes through or near Helsinki, Porvoo, Loviisa, Pyhtaa and Kotka before continuing to the border. You know when you're on it as it's well signposted in Swedish and/or Finnish on signs that have a crown on them. I've only ever done the drive from Helsinki to Kotka and the true road takes you through many interesting villages, towns and places of beauty. Try it instead of the main road/motorway to the east.
