Beautiful old station
Lappeenranta Central Station is located within a 10 minutes walk from the city center. The station is served by traffic to Helsinki and Joensuu. The station building was completed in 1934. The building was renovated in the early 2000s. The station has a cafe-restaurant, a taxi stop, and a bus stop.

Good facilities
They have a little cafe/restaurant inside the railway station. There are also toilets but you have to pay 1 Euro
