Lovely small walk

Went on a walk with a friend to lammassaari. It was a lovely place to make a small walk, on a sunny day, if you want to stay close to the center and if you don't want to go on a big hike that takes the whole day. There where a few birdwatching towers that where nice to go sit a little and enjoy the view. We picnicked there next to the water and because it was a warm day it was lovely to cool down, after the picknick, with our feet in the (little bit cold) water.

    Perfect trailrunning & MTB
    The area between the two spas in Imatra / Lappeenranta is perfect for trailrunning & MTB. Lammassaari is a cherry on top of this cake: the trail goes around the island only few meters away from the lake Saimaa. Stunning scenery.

    Relaxing nature
    Lammassaari has beatiful nature and it is easily accessed by all kinds of people. Take a relaxing walk in the woods or by the shore.
