Very beautiful display of mere power!
"The music started and gates slowly let the water flow. Water flow increases and starts to turn into roaring rapids and water fog. Sleeping Sun by Nightwish is playing in the speakers allover the place and water dances even harder." It is almost melancholicly breathtaking start for the show that displays the raw power of rapids. Show of rapids (Koskishow) takes about 20 minutes until the gates closes and the water disappear into downstream. Definately worth of watching.

Beautiful and historic
Imatrankoski is a beuatiful and powerful place with lots of history. One can spen d anything between 10 minjutes to a day walking and admiring the power of water and the nice nature around. Even withiut the showtimes you can be lucky to see the dam open and the water flowing.
