Be an idiot to miss out on this!
Absolutely loved this and visited every single morning we were staying in Imatra. I've never seen anything as fierce as that but it was breath taking and perfectly placed for the best photos one will ever take. It's a no brainer to visit. Has some lovely places to have a break either side of it.

Impressive
Impressive water falls and river. Always some water but especially if they open the damn for over flyding - find out when they schedule those

Beautiful and powerful
Definetely worth a visit. Beautiful and powerful waterfall with lots of history. One can spend the whole day strolling along the banks and admiring either the power of the water or the rock formations. Walk all the around Kruunuvuorenpuisto and carry coffe ein thermos to enjoy at the end.
