Kinderdijk is a must-see, but parking is hopeless. Park in the nearby town of Alblasserdam and walk the remaining 1 or 2 kilometres (unless you come by public transport). Not only convenient but the walk lets you enjoy the scenery in a somewhat different way than the thousands of visitors that visit the place in the normal way
