Good for children
Very interesting place where we can meet Rotterdam City! The place is OK, but it needs some cleaning, as we can see some models full of dust. Lot of information is not translated in English, so it is quite difficult to understand the full scope. But, in general is good experience for kids!

Nice afternoon watching miniature train
Located within walking distance of the Rotterdam Central Station, my oldest son and I had a wonderful afternoon here. It's wonderful to see all the miniature trains go by. Some of the trains do look and sound a bit worn out, with creaky noises coming from the carbon brushes of the engines and/or wheels. The same goes to the exhibits. Not all trains have lights and sometimes there is a derailment that needs to be solved. Very keen to see how the UK lay-out will look like once completed. Interesting to see Miniworld has chosen for HO scale, were UK model railways are predominately OO. I wonder what rolling stock will be used as there is not a lot of current UK stock available in HO (to my knowledge). Entrance prices are a bit on the steep side (€25 for an adult and a three year old).
