Mooie te zien!
It's a really nice piece of history that you can find in a canter of Gorinchem! I am living in Gorinchem from 2008 and I have to admit it's a shame it took me so much to finally go inside! Really worth to be visited!

Beautiful Church Spire
The church was the highlight of our walking tour, as we walked to the river to meet our tour ship. It stands at the site of a Gothic church that dates to the 1200s, but was demolished and the current church opened in 1851. The tower, built in the 1400s, is it's most interesting exterior feature.

Rather confusing combination of architectural styles
This church dates from 1851 (architects Isaäc Warnsinck and Abraham Godefroy). A mixture of Roman and classicist styles was applied in the design. The churchbuilding is not to be confused with the Gothic church tower which is much older (completed in 1517). I found the combination of styles rather confusing, not to say odd.
