Nice small fort, too bad about the somewhat grumpy caretaker
Fort Buitensluis is a unique monumental object, located near the river Hollandsch Diep. The fort is certainly worth a visit. The entrance is free. Walking routes have been plotted, on some dates, guided tours are available and you can make a boat trip with the unique landing craft L9512. In the fort you can buy (soft) drinks, and visit our new roof terrace with panoramic views of the surroundings
