Small amateur zoo, perfect for families with young children
Hidden in the rural countryside is a small amateur zoo. You will not find elephants or tigers here, but it still has a decent and varied collection of birds and small mammals. Flamingos, Capibaras, Alpacas, Servals, Racoondogs, etc Enough to amuse and interest young children. The shelters and accommodations are mostly small and simple, some even seem to be built from scraps and rubble … but the newer accommodations look quite decent. But not true zoo level. Still, the fact that is relative quiet and children can run and roam free without too much worries, makes it perfect fir bringing your 2-6 year olds. Might also be ok for older children, but just for an hour. Youngest ones can amuse themselves fir 2 hours, maybe 3 with some snacks and icecream. The price … well… it might be a bit much for what you get. 35-40 euro for family of four. But zoos are expensive to run and maintain. Overall, ideal to spend a part of the day with young children. Bit pricy, especially as it is not a dayfiller, but other than that, worth a visit.
