Give the city points for making a notable effort.
Past and present leaders of Rapid City deserve a round of applause for re-vitalizing and maintaining a vibrant, walking friendly downtown. There is a statue - usually of a president - on every corner and a goodly number of botques, specialty stores and parks. Kudos!

Downtown Stroll
Love the downtown of Rapid City. Great place to stroll, check out the variety of stores, and visit art alley during the day.Check out the corner statues, native art stores, and the Splash area in the downtown area is open during the hot summer months.
