    What Happened to Detective Magnum, the perfect room for escape room enthusiasts and beginners!
    As an escape room enthusiast having done over 100 rooms in 3 states I have to say "What Happened to Detective Magnum" is by far the BEST! Great attention to detail creates a feeling of full immersion into the 80's, and into a story line unlike any other room. I love rooms that are not just a series of locks but use very creative ways to get you from one step to the next, and the room's creator does just that. There were many surprises I've not experienced in other rooms. While there is not an "in-room actor" the gamemaster does interact more than most rooms which I found to be very enjoyable. Rudy was our gamemaster and he was outstanding! It's one of those rooms that you replay over and over again in your head because it was that much fun. I highly recommend this room and can't wait for their next creation!

    Interestingly different
    Being my first time, I did not know what to expect but over all it was a unique experience. The lobby needs some final touches to present itself as a professional business such as installing the missing baseboards, mouldings and outlet covers. The young lady that checked us in considered a phone call from the boss more important than the job he hired her to do. That tells me that her boss might be a little hard to please or get along with since she answered his call in the middle of serving "his" customers. Anyway, she gave great instructions but did not pause to let us know that the escape adventure is going to begin with some questions from her concerning the adventure to get us started and when she asked how we new the detective none of us knew what to say or if we were supposed to answer her as part of the adventure. Over all, it was good.
