    What an incredible piece of history! Kudos to the township and park department for maintaining such a treasure. Built in the 19th century and still a wonder! Herb McCourtie was a very generous man AND must have had a huge streak of fun in him to want to create these detailed concrete trees and bridges to look like wood. Of course, it helped that his business was Concrete! And HUGE beautiful birdhouses that accommodate over 200 birds. Do read up on the history prior to visiting as it will enrich the time you spend here. See more..
