Make your picnic just 50 km from Sofia. In the center of Belchin is located very nice monument to the heroes of this village. Several beautiful churches and museum. Restored 17th-century-old Roman fortress. Paid parking nearby and a small funicular. If you want to ignore payment, continue east and before the end of the village turn right on a dirt road. After 1400 meters you are close to a children's unique attraction. There are benches, tables, drinking fountain and picnic areas.

Beautiful place
Amazing place with amazing view. It has a small museum, however it is nothing special and I don't suggest it. Anyway The place is suitable for children and is easily accessible via car or you can take a short 30min walk from the nearby Belchin village. There is something like a lift which you can use to skip the walk and it is also pretty cool but doesn't always work. It is really good place for children as there is a big playground and a fortress that's pretty interesting.

Wasn’t bad, but it can be better ?
❤️❤️❤️Nice family time, it’s good for walking and spending a bit time in the Mountain and in the Nature. There is not that much to see, kids play park is good, but not enough.... Really small place
