Old town Zlatograd
Very authentic reconstruction plus real artefacts from different epochs located into the museum. Very atmospheric and pleasant place.we stayed at brand new Aqua Spa Hotel which is also highly recommended.

Unique place
Zlatograd is the the southest Bulgarian town. It's just next to the border with Greece. That's good for the city as many greek tourists come here to enjoy for the weekend and rest. The town was just a village 100 years ago and just in the last 60 years it became bigger - arround 7000 people. The ethographic area complex consists of several buildings preserved to house small museums and ancient craftsman. Each museum entrance cost arround 4 leva or 2 euro. I have visited - the school ... Nicely preserved and maintained expoaition - the etnographic and historical museum - Deliu's house. The higlight for me of the places, revealing the history of haiduti
