Green lake: Respite from the dry vista

Great relief after being around the generally dry and hot area. Located on the road from Karachi to Hyderabad. The wind was refreshing, coming over the water. A nice restaurant with reasonable food is available.

    Boating, visiting tomb and picnic
    Its a very nice place if you have some connections in Army and plan a stay at Army resort near by. Ther you can enjoy really cold water of jheel. This water is also being supplied to Karachi for drinking. In the centre of this lake (Jheel) is a grave of a lady who was lover of an old well known person. The access to it is only by boat. There are small restaurants on the lake where you can find some tasty fish as well.

    Beautiful Lake to visit
    This is one of the beautiful & large natural lake of the Region but unfortunately the place was not maintained by the Tourism Dept. of Sind. but there are few Good Huts are available with Good facilities. Thousands of people visit this place in Summer and enjoyed with the Cool water, boating, fishing and also visit Noori Jam Tamachi Tomb through boats which is located in the middle of this Lake. people who want to visit keenjhar lake should keep their food with himself because food quality is not good at lake. STDC Huts are available but booking should be made prior from its Karachi office @ ShahraeFaisal Karachi. Hut Charges per Day normally 3000/- to 5000/-
