A quick hike
Was really nice, beautiful views, took some great pictures with fall leaves. It’s a nice quick hike, took longer hanging out where the fall dropped and where along the creek where the kids played. There are no railings so make sure little ones are close by and holding hands near the waterfall and the overlook. Your at the top Of the fall so it’s hard to see it when you look down. It was a nice drive to get to as well.

Nice little nature walk
First off, Siri will not get you there. I had researched from my home computer, so when I was on the mountain, and found Siri to be no help, I googled Falling Water State Natural Area, and google got me there easily. We measured the trail to be .2 mile. Other than the tree roots, its an easy trail that could be walked by almost anyone. We walked very slowly (with handicapped person), and it only too 6 minutes to get to the falls. The entrance is in neighborhood area, so there are only a few spaces to park. The draw for us, was that we are building a house down below, and wanted to see the actual "falling water". We will go back when rhododendron's are in bloom--they were everywhere!

Beautiful view
Only a trickle of water when we went, hadn’t rained in a while. Easy short walk to where the fall is supposed to be. Not much parking at all! It’s is a very beautiful view standing at the edge! Just don’t go in a mega cab dodge dully! Listen to the wife & take her small car! The road is very scenic, steady uphill for most of the way & hair pin turns! Beautiful houses on the way too!
