Wonderful collection
The museum collection is absolutely fantastic and very big ! You would need hours to enjoy everything properly. There is not a lot of explanations but it is a great travel in time (some pieces are 7500 years old), if you are interested in archeology. This was a very nice surprise, don't miss it if you stay a few days on the island !

Great place to spend a morning
We spent a morning in this park at the top of the hill in Liperi. It is a collection of historic sites that includes a great museum, the castle, the Cattedrale di San Bartolomeo and the Acropoli. It is well marked and has good descriptive signage.

A must cultural place.
The collection runs from bronze age to renascense. It should be nice to have access to an app. Where to learn more about the artifacts. The catalogue, long and detailed, is not available which is understandable considering the size of collection. Volcanology section read closed to the public. The architecture of the structure is rich.
