An appetizer to Juizhaighou

This place will really leave you hungry for more. As our driver said, it's just an appetizer to what we were about to see in Juizhaighou:)

    Must do!
There is a new road from Songpan to MuNiGou Valley. There you can visit the Zhaga Waterfall (70 RMB) and the Erdao Lakes with hot spring (70 RMB) (combiticket 100 RMB). We only visited the waterfall area because there was not enough water in the lakes. The Zhaga waterfall and the surroundings are really a must see! So beautiful and most important, hardly any people. We met only 10 other people only around the waterfall. In the rest of the park we were alone. (It is a bit like Jouzhaigou in small version). There are a lot of very clean toilets on the trail. The valley to the scenic area drives you through lovely Tibetan Villages.

    Unually coloured Zharga waterfall
Cycled here from our campsite in the Munigou Valley. Not far from Songpan town. Surrounded by beautiful conifers, this waterfall and the river that flows from it has mineral deposits quite similar looking to those at Huanglong. Costs 70 RMB entrance which is much cheaper than Hunaglong. A good walk to take small children on in my opinion. The waterfall itself is magnificent.
