the Mountain Village Over The Clouds
This village is one of the Minority Qiang Villages in Beichuan where grows more than 1000 plants and 200 wild animals, over 96% of it covers with forest. While you stay in the village, the views of the mountains and the rivers are phenomenon and the clouds around the top of the hills are spectacular and changing all the time, that’s why it also famous for the name of the Mountain Village Over The Clouds. Shi Yi Qiang Village has been inhabited by the oldest Minority Qiang in China for generations, although it has been through the Magnitude 8 earthquake, the buildings still stands out without damage and the environment keeps no change, for the most, there’s no casualty, for which it has known as the Safest Qiang Village in the history.
