Great place to escape Beijing super-animated center
Went to have dinner there, the place was so nice: imagine a lake with restaurants around, a park to have a walk, the whole being very quiet. I felt amazing that within a few kilometers from Beijing center you can find such nice place. I strongly recommend for people who want to escape for Beijing jungle during a few hours.

Chaoyanghu
Stayed in Pujiang for a week, and visited the lake on my last day there. The lake is only 11 km from Pujiang town. Chaoyanghu is a very long and skinny lake. It cost between 35-50 RMB to get a boat ride, depending on which type of boat you go on. The boat ride was a good hour long. Plenty of jungle scenery as well as unusual sandstone rocks on the lake edges.
