Basketball called the second religion in Lithuania , but the place where fans of this sport , athletes and all who are interested to see the country's famous basketball players , attributes , historical photos, prolonged absence . Any changes took place in 2009 - the third year, - Joniškyje opened only in Lithuania, and perhaps also in Europe , a basketball museum . Few believed or hoped that in this small town in Lithuania will be opened namely basketball Museum. A lot of work , planning and consistent effort has been undertaken to bring this project to become a reality . Joniškio Basketball Museum is pleased to invite all basketball fans and for the sport of people who visit and see a piece of history of Lithuanian basketball .
