Beautiful museum but bad service (reception)

Today I went to the museum of photography and I have to say that it’s really well organised and you can see and learn a lot of things. After finishing my tour in the museum I wanted to go to the library where you can also watch videos (also in English). After having started watching a video for only two minutes the receptionist came and asked me to stop and she wanted me to quit. I said that I’ve just started two minutes ago but she insisted and asked me to interrupt my session. That was really very disappointing for me. Anyway, the museum is really worth the money and the visit.

    Fabulous museum! Must visit!
Extremely interesting, fabulously presented and very informative small museum fabulously designed space in the centre of Shkoder which is worth a trip. If you are interested in photography and the history of Albania this is a must visit.

    Interesting and inspiring
It's a high-valued collection of 4-5 generation of photographer family, with Italian origin. The photos are unique, showing a lost Albania from the last centruries torn apart by the powers of the moment. I found not less interesting the photographers of Marubi family, all of them had a completely different life and ideas of how the future of the country should be and it's well expressed on their photos. There is everything translated to English and you can find several sections about the photography of the past, the machines, tehnics etc. Expensive? Yes, but this museum is among the bests in Europe and the conservation of thousands and thousands images is not cheap neither. For sure worth a visit!
