Gem of the Albanian Alps
This place is really good for the soul. The road to reach it is a bit bumpy and it will make you sweat like crazy but is so worth it. The fresh air, the wild nature, and the breathtaking view are unlike anything you will ever see in your life. In case you are as crazy as I am and want to take a swim know this beforehand: the water is gelid cause it is always running so I would recommend going there during 12-3 pm because after that the sun is hidden behind the high mountains. During this time period, you can bask in the warm sunlight and not catch a cold. Be sure to take a bottle of water for the road cause it's gonna be a long one. Don't try to be first to arrive or the fastest, the journey is very uphill so take your time, enjoy the view in the meantime and consider this a leg day exercise with the best finale.

Amazing colors
I went to the Blue Eye with three friends and a dog. We did not hike all the way but arranged a taxi from Theth to Nderlysaj. From there it's a 40min hike to the Blue Eye (one way). The hike a bit of climb but nothing really hard. The trail is well marked. We arrived around 10.20 and were the first guests so we had the place for ourselves. Only after 20 minutes other people started to arrived. It's a splendid place and the color is just hypnotizing. The water is icy-cold so we did not swim. The café was closed, probably because of low season, but on the way back there was someone selling called drinks. The driver cost 50€ and waited for us 2,5 hours at Nderlysaj. It's totally worth the money as the road is really bad and bumpy. Especially after having done the Valbona Pass, this saves you about 4 hours hike, so we were happy we had the driver...

Must see attraction
When you visit Theth dor sure you have to go and visit the Blue Eye. It is reached by foot because you have to climb the mountain. It is easy to reach the eye and the road that brings you there is breathless. You can swim inside the blue eye.
