Nice

It is in the middle of the mosque place and even when it is very animated zone, it was a palace before and it keeps the luxury.

    Something Different in Shanxi
At the time of writing, the Datong Old Town was undergoing massive restorations. The city has undertaken the mammoth project of rebuilding its ancient city walls from scratch, and its main temples have had (over-zealous) facelifts. One less publicized project is the restoration of Datong's historic mosque. The mosque was closed during our visit as a new plaza is being paved in front of it. But the building itself has already been restored and fortunately there no unsympathetic additions to the exterior. A fascinating mixture of Chinese and Turkish influences, it has minarets with pagoda-style roofs. Its grey stone, inset with calligraphy, makes this a very attractive monument.

    Mosque in China
No entrance fee. From outside Middle East style inside "Chinese temple style". You can find some English poster inside with some explanations. Good condition and architecture. Its near the drum tower. Thanks for reading my review and I hope it was helpful for your trip.
