The Perfect Stone GreatWall
The wall was repaired recently by the local citizens and the wall is really nice and it's about 150 years earlier than the great wall in Beijing Few tourists ,empty place i think it worthy to visit but the traffic is really not easy there is no public transportion system there and you have to take taxi and ask tazxi to wait for you and bring you back maybe this is the reason why not many people go there many famous people ( such as Kang xi emperor , etc) visited this area befoe and if you wish to lear more about China Greatwall history ,its a necessary place to visit

Perfect place to see the Great Wall without other noisy tourists around you.
I arrived at Guguan Pass on July 29, 2011 by bicycle. Despite the heavy traffic and the highway, it was a quiet place to discover the Great Wall. After the entrance fee I climbed to the northern section, overlooking the valley and the pass. The higher you go, the smaller the wall becomes. I was the only visitor at that moment and just this makes a visit to Guguan Pass so special.

Worth going: no crowds
We took a private car from Pingding, paying 150 RMB return. The driver visited the site together with us... It takes around one hour to get to the place from Pingding and roughly 1.5 hours to visit. There are just a few visitors, leaving plenty of space and time to look around and climb the stairs at ease. The site is well kept, even if it is difficult to say what is really old and what has been restored recently. The ticket fee is 30 RMB per person. The sky was blue and the air cold but nice. Few hundred meters from the parking you can get some noodles from a very local restaurant, and this is all you can get as far as food is concerned in this place.
