Guan Di was a general who was elevated in Taoist and Buddhist religions as the God of War. You see temples with this god throughout Asia and even in the U.S. His image can be found in most police stations in Taiwan and he is revered by businessmen. The grounds are well maintained and the temple grounds are well worth the visit if you find yourself in Yuncheng, China.

An impressive religious building
The historic buildings are spread over a large area. The buildings go back a very long time but still retain some very colorful murals. There are several ancient statutes. The gardens are very well kept. You will need an interpreter as the guide speaks only Putonghua.
