Worth a brief visit for the signs alone

Some of the most amusing English language translations we saw in China. We visited early in the morning when the museum was quiet and we were able to tour quickly. The highlights were the weapons and furniture displays. If you have a half hour, stop in and check it out.

    possibly interesting, but with poor information in English
    We went in as it was included in the Pingyao ticket and seemed to be a popular place of interest. Unfortunately, there was very little information in English, which is perhaps why the display in this museum didn't seem particularly exciting to us. The place was also overcrowded, making the visit quite unpleasant.

    Same same, not different
    With the entry ticket to Old City you get access to all of the ancient buildings. Apart from a brief introduction at the front door, there are no other signs in English in this particular one again unable to see how different from the others in the city
