Great attraction.

Very nicely designed buildings. It is a good idea to set aside time to tour the area without rushing. Stalls selling souvenirs and small shops in the area. Overall a great looking place.

Touristy but Good experience
This place is just outside Yu Garden. It is extremely crowded and touristy, but a good experience. Buildings had a very Chinese facade and you can get plenty of food, drinks, clothes and souvenirs here. Just get used to the crowds and you will enjoy your visit.

So Much to See!
Nanshi is bustling, crowded and rather loud, but should definitely be part of your visit to Shanghai. Many, many choices for food, some shops with high-end merchandise, and others with inexpensive souvenirs. A bit touristy for sure, but well worth seeing!
