Beautiful in Spring

It is beautiful in Spring. Beautiful peony garden here. They have a huge rose garden too. Crowd is good here and you can see the seniors dancing and singing. There’s a children’s amusement park for families too. Pretty decent size park and entrance is free.

    Uplifting
Located within the French Concession area this is a must do. We visited during a Saturday morning and the park was buzzing with opera singers, choirs and dancers. Such a lovely atmosphere. You can take a leisurely walk and stop to appreciate each groups talent. Lots of greenery and unusual rock formations to admire. Here you can even see birds in their cages out for the day with their owners. Very endearing.

    Beautiful park in Shanghai
Fuxing Park (Xujiahui Park) covers an area of 86,600 sq meters and is bordered by Hengshan, Tianping, Zhaojiabang, and Wanping Roads. There are 5 main entrances. This is a relatively new park built in 2000. The park now resides on the sites of what was an old rubber factory, branch of a record company, and surrounding buildings and residential neighborhoods. The park has water features, basketball courts, children playground, and various art sculptures throughout. It's a calming place in the craziness of Shanghai. Many locals gather here and can be seen cuddling up, lazing on the lawn, feeding pond fishes, or just casually strolling about. A very nice place to gather your thoughts and relax.
