Submarines designed after sharks
The sharks are amazing to watch. Lots of them here. Some submarines were designed after studying the movement and shape of sharks. Well worth a visit for shark enthusiasts.

Certainly for Tourists
There were tour groups of kids and young people entering in when I arrived and it was quite noisy. Inside it looked more like a theme park attraction for kids than a formal aquarium. The main attraction is one large whale shark. Best not to visit July and August with the crowds if you really want to see it.

Worth the visit just to see the whale sharks
Despite not being such an old museum it looked like it was a 30 year old design. Nevertheless there were some nice exhibits with minimal English. The star of course was the enormous tank with the whale sharks. Could watch them for hours.
