xi xia kou - an interesting experience not worth repeating
I was in town on business. The town is an interesting experiment in that the town owns all the businesses. At the hotel, they turn on the AirCon only from 6pm until midnight. So you wake up in a puddle of sweat by 2am EVERY MORNING. Maid service is hit or miss, sometimes they change towels, sometimes they forget to give you bath towels. There was a tea set in the room, and I used it every morning. Had to bring in my own tea and had to wash out my stuff as that is another hit or miss item. At least where I worked (on a foreign ship in shipyard) they had AirCon going 24hours. The zoo is dirty, all the chinese guests think it is OK to throw their empty water bottles into the tiger pens.
