The New Football Museum is Now Open

Went there today, a taxi from the town was 12 Yuan. Be aware that it's out of town and you'll probably have to get the 237 bus back; walk onto the museum road, turn left, five hundred metres to the lights, turn right and the bus stop is about 50 metres. 1 Yuan for the bus. A brand new museum, 30 Yuan entry. They may want to see your passport! The first floor is about the Qi dynasty and early football. The second floor is the real football museum. A little about English football, a nice exhibit about the predidents of FIFA, a lot about World Cup, a nd quite a bit about Chinese football. Most of the labels are in Chinese but some have English translations. There's a small coffee shop but at 25Yuan is a Premiership price. Similarly in the gift shop, nothing under 300Yuan! The museum is on the museum park, which when finished, which it nearly is will be fantastic. Overall, a nice way to spend three hours.

    The Football Museum has moved
The LinZi Football museum has moved to the museum park about 15 minutes by taxi from the odld museum. Looks fantastic from the outside but it is closed until 2016 Chinese New year to get the exhibits organized.

    Birthplace of Football/Soccer
This is worth a visit if you are in the area and interested in Soccer. Fifa have recognised Linzi as the birthplace of football and this museum has a history of it.
