Not very much to see
The second part of the Qufu Kong triad of sites is the most disappointing. There are many pavilions and pagodas, but only a couple of them are actually open. Four in fact. And you can only go to the doors and peer inside, along with the 00's of other visitors all straining and craning to get a look. A huge part of the complex is boarded off and under going renovation as of September 2016, but many of the pavilions that are not being restored are closed and locked anyway. If you peer through the filthy glass, you may just see some of the sights inside and in some cases, the padlocked doors are open just a crack. But all in all, there's not much to see other than courtyards and padlocked doors. I can't believe this is how it's meant to be otherwise everyone who's ever been here would feel cheated.
