Watch for pickpockets and also hawkers trying to sell cheap terra-cotta ripoffs. Then again, watch the sellers selling the more expensive version saying that only there’s won’t fall apart and is better quality. Every man for himself here!.

Interesting Drum Tower
Highly decorated and ornate drum tower. Periodically has live shows inside. Has an interesting display of furniture inside and a line of drums surrounding the exterior with descriptive signs in English detailing the various Chinese seasons of the year. Has a good view of the Muslim Quarter. Worth a visit.

Its OK
I am not sure why its called Drum Tower Square when its closer to the Bell Tower, but it gives a good view of the Bell Tower. There is plenty or shops in the area. There isn't anything particularly historical or special about this square, but its a good gather place for people. They had a very small Christmas set up there, where they had some characters and events happening when we were there.
