Holy
Gorgeous cathedral built in Gothic Revival style in the heart of Seoul. As a Catholic, I’d been wanting to visit it for a while. It was a must on my week long visit to Korea. The grounds still had their Christmas nativity scene up in early January. My only regret was I didn’t have time to stay for mass and the inside was closed because of current mass. I did have a chances to ask for Mother Mary’s intercession at two of the statues behind and in front of the cathedral. I hope my next visit is much longer!

Myeong-dong Cathedral
Собор построен в 19 веке и посвящен Пресвятой Деве Марии и Непорочному зачатию. Является культурным достоянием станы. Вокруг приятная благоустроенная территория. The cathedral was built in the 19th century and is dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Immaculate Conception. It is a cultural heritage of the country. Surrounded by a nice landscaped area. 대성당은 19세기에 지어졌으며 복되신 동정 마리아와 원죄 없으신 잉태를 기리는 곳입니다. 국가의 문화유산입니다. 조경이 잘 된 지역으로 둘러싸여 있습니다.

Peaceful
Very nice church on the hill, it is simple and beautiful inside. It was a Sunday so a lot of people were inside praying. Unfortunately becuase of the coronavirus, there was no holy water but that is understandable. If you are into religious sites, definitely worth a visit.
