Cheaper food than other but not cheapest
Though known as a market for clothes, for those in-the-know, this market is actually a foodie’s dream. Gwangjang offers a cornucopia of cheap, traditional Korean snacks and “street foods.” Try the giant mung-bean pancakes for an authentic, affordable treat.

Great cheap food and drink
We came here one evening and enjoyed some very cheap food. We loved the fried omelettes and the twizzled donuts (1,000 WON!) and this filled our stomachs for a very cheap price. The market itself is very pretty inside and is very popular with the locals. Definitely worth visiting if nearby.

Nothing different from other markets
This place was nothing special from other markets around South Korea. Still worth a visit, just to take in the atmosphere. Most of the food is typical street food, recommend finding a place that has a lot of people. This usually indicates it’s a pretty good place. There are a few Netflix famous spots, but don’t let that be your deciding factor.
