Relaxing Weekend Retreat with Kids
Scott and Janet have created a little slice of heaven in Seldovia Bay. The cabin and treehouse were fantastic for our group of three families with three small kids. The kids loved running around the property and tidal zone – it was a weekend full of discovery and giggles. Sea kayaking with sea otters highlighted our Saturday and a bonfire capped off the weekend wonderfully. Between Scott touring with us around Seldovia and Janet’s cooking – we felt like family. Our family can’t wait to escape back to this gorgeous lodge on the water.

One of a kind stay in Kachemak Bay
I stayed here with my wife and two children, age 1 and 3. Had a wonderful visit! The location is one of a kind, tucked away on a beautiful sand beach in the bay near Seldovia. Having kids with us, we mostly spent our time exploring the beach and relaxing in the main lodge; the woodworking of the main lodge is gorgeous and befits the surroundings perfectly; this makes for a nice relaxing location with beautiful views in every direction. On one of our days we went into Seldovia for a time and explored. There is a beautiful beach just north of town for tide pooling that the kids loved. There are also several restaurants, coffee shops, and stores to visit in Seldovia. It is an easy ten minute boat ride from the lodge. Scott and Janet were excellent hosts and seemed to very much enjoy having the kids around. The food was excellent and we enjoyed spending time with them. I went out fishing with Scott one afternoon and came home with enough halibut to make a delicious dinner. Cook Inlet is amazing and Scott knows the spots to go to get on fish. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did; the location is one of a kind and you can truly enjoy being in the Alaska backcountry while still having a comfortable stay with wonderful people.

Unique Escape
My husband and I were looking for a unique escape to spend our honeymoon, what a treat! The Treehouse was an exceptional experience! We were greeted in Homer and taken on an excursion that will not be forgotten anytime soon. THe fact that we slept in a treehouse was awesome and the views were amazing. My husband and I took the kayaks to the head of the bay on a calm day it was so beautiful! I'm looking forward to going back some day.
