Salmon Annie is a delightful young lady with strong character and determination. She offers a trip or trips on her little boat across Seldovia Bay to her string of set nets. There you help pull the nets and untangle Salmon, one of which is yours to keep. The boat goes out several times a day. You can participate on each trip for the day. Her shop has smoothies and healthy snacks. The business is a family affair offering personal attention.

    This is the real deal
    You will feel like a real Alaskan when you get your commercial fishing crewmember license and go fishing with Salmon Annie! This is a cultural experience, not a sport fishing charter. It’s fun and educational to learn about how Alaskan families make a living, where wild salmon comes from, how to tell the different fish species apart, how to pick fish from the nets, and how to bleed and handle the fish so it can be sold as a high-quality commercial product. Anne’s positive attitude, patient teaching skills, fine boat handling, and beautiful scenery make this a gem of a “field trip.” I can’t wait to go again!
