A Memorable Fishing Trip

Enjoyed a fantastic day of fishing with Capt Johnny and Big Easy Fishing. Personable, knowledgeable, and dedicated to a great fishing experience this was the best charter I’ve ever been on. Will definitely book again.

    Lift weights before the trip!
    4 of us went on this trip. 2 of us are freshwater fishing guides. So I pay really close attention on trips to maybe learn for my own guiding. I throw a cast net a lot, and John put on a clinic catching live bait. It is not easy to do, and he made it easy. Terry and John obviously have a wealth of knowledge. You better lift weights ahead of time to get in shape. You’ll get whipped all over the back of the boat on spinning tackle. I highly recommend yelling with joy when your reel is being spooled! These guys are great, but most importantly, they are nice. Nobody wants to go on vacation and fish with grumpy people.

    Had the BEST time
    This was something that has always been on my bucket list to do with my Dad. Captain Terry and John made every effort to make sure that we caught some fish (enough for two days worth of deliciousness!). They interacted well with everyone and shared some great stories. I cannot thank them enough for the amazing day. I know that I will be making every effort to get back to do this again. I highly recommend Big Easy Charters!!
