Fantastic Value
My visit here took 2 days to complete. as I wandered the 3 Floors taking in everything I could. from the beginning of civilisation on the first floor through the ages till reaching on day 2 the fantastic new display or works o fart from pots to jewellery An amazing place to visit with staff that were helpful even when a machine was not available to interpret for me. they found me a book explaining all. The café inside is a must visit too with wonderful cakes and pastries along with really good coffee. I came across a group of schoolchildren visiting that were there about 30 minutes. my goodness it took me 2 days and it was well worth it

The best of its kind I have seen.
Simply my favourite museum in the world, and I have been in many. The curator/curators should get awards for its design. It is lit like a theatre set, and the explanations are superb, just the right amount and presented in the most accessible manner. You could spend the whole day here and not get bored, it's that good. It is also criminally under-visited so get along there and support this amazing place.

Good choice
My girlfriend and me just visited this museum. On a rainy Sunday this was the best we could do. The howl building is really interesting. The history of chemnitz and Saxony really good done. Especially the money audition was really interesting..
