A nice little museum about the lost mining industir in the Ertz mountains. A very DDR feeling but interesting. Buy some cards for a few Eurocent

A must do in Annaberg-Buchholz
Visiting the mine was part of our Christmas Markets tour and we were pleasantly surprised how professional it was. Our tour guide was the director of all the local Museums and was very knowledgeable. Be aware there are steps down and back but so worth a visit. Also visit the museum it has so much about the people and area in the past. We also visited the town which had many places to eat, a very friendly town to visit.

Museum about mining and handy craft
This museum shows a lot about the life of the people before WW II. It is very interesting and it should be visited if you are at Annaberg. We did not visit the mine. pore
