Eisenbahnwelten im Kurort Rathen is the largest garden model train park in the world in gage size G. A perfect attraction for the whole family and all train lovers. On over 7000 square kilometres, 35 model trains drive through miniature replicas of the impressive scenery and local sights of Dresden and the Saxon Switzerland. Children got bored? Just go there for reward!
After few days spent with hiking tours, museums and natural attractions, we saw that the children need some ... refreshment. And THIS was the right one. Although parts of the railway would appreciate some renovation, it is still cool, big and funny! Definitely a must choice.

Wonderful setting a great garden railway
I am so pleased we called in here. Very well presented attraction and as we have a garden railway at home was even more worthwhile. The cafe food was also good with a fair range. Worth getting off the train for.
