Deutsches Hygiene-Museum Dresden, Saxony, Germany

Surprisingly interesting

The Museum of Man. Just a stone's throw from Dresden's Frauenkirche, the Deutsches Hygiene-Museum invites visitors to experience people and their bodies. For over 100 years, the unique hands-on museum has been offering a look "under the skin". In addition, there are annually changing exhibitions on current topics from science, culture and society. The museum impresses both - from inside and from outside: Nowhere else in Dresden, the world-famous Bauhaus architecture can be experienced better.

Important to visit to understand history
I wrote a review of this museum that was rejected because it was "political". I'll try to avoid that again. Simply, if you are in Dresden, visit this museum. It has important historical artifacts that you can evaluate for yourself. Be sure to look at the IBM Deutschland card sorter and consider what role it played in history.

interesting and good option for a rainy day
If you're interested in younger health's history and vivid examples of progress you should take a look at this museum. Also special exhibitions are captivating to my point of view. Big plus: the ticket is valid for two days! For sure you can see most things in 2-3 hours at the exhibition, but it's optimal e.g. you're located in the near and have a bit "free time" e.g. in the afternoon for looking around or to tide over some rainy hours.
