Nice church

Nice church but was closed on Saturday evening. Opening times are limited so most likely you will not get in. From outdoors looks also nice.

    Interesting but odd
A Lutheran Church now proud of its Catholic decorative heritage. The wall paintings, depicting biblical moments, are a little garish surrounding the altar/sanctuary but intriguing. With some bright stained glass windows, with the sun, they create fascinating colour and atmosphere. A newer, additional side altar and its decoration again seems rather ornate for such a church. Two delights in the Church are the “permanent” churchgoer seated at the end of the pew and the five “church mice” guarding the hymn books. Well worth a visit and a cool sanctuary on a hot day.

    Beautiful medieval church
This grey granite church was completed in 1512. The white clock tower was built in 1816. The interior is beautiful. The ceiling section of the altar features restored frescoes in bright colors. On our visit, there was a service going on and we couldn't explore the church more.
